Returns Policy
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Our goal is to make your experience as easy as possible. This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Change of Mind Returns
We offer a 14-day return or exchange window for change of mind. For these returns, the following conditions apply:
- Restocking Fee: A 10% fee applies to cover inspection, administrative labor, and repackaging.
- Condition: Products must be in original packaging and "As New" condition. For 'Hand Laid' FRP components, this means the part must be in its original raw gel coat and must not have been sanded, primed, painted, or modified.
- Freight: Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.
2. Faulty or Damaged Items (ACL)
If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or significantly different from the description:
- You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the ACL.
- No restocking fees apply to faulty goods.
- We will cover or reimburse reasonable return freight costs for verified major failures.
3. Customer-Arranged Freight
If you choose to organise your own third-party freight, you assume all responsibility for the return journey. We cannot book, manage, or pay for return freight for items originally collected or shipped via customer-arranged services.
4. The Return Process
To initiate a return, email sales@autoforce.com.au with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product. Once authorised, you will receive specific instructions for return to our Coopers Plains workshop.
Workshop Returns
Items may be returned in person to avoid freight costs:
