Auto Force
Est. 1998 | Australia's Hub for Premium Aero, Body Kits & Performance Accessories
From JDM import pioneers to Australia's leaders in hand-laid FRP and precision-engineered vehicle upgrades.
Our Roots: The JDM Import Era (1998)
Auto Force began in 1998 during the golden era of Japanese performance imports. At a time when the Australian market lacked high-performance options from local manufacturers, we specialised in sourcing and importing iconic platforms including the Nissan Skyline (R33-R34), Silvia (S14-S15) and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
The late 90s were defined by evolving SEVS regulations, and our early success came from navigating the complex compliance requirements needed to make these vehicles road-legal in Queensland.
From Importer to Manufacturer
During this period, we identified a critical engineering gap: imported JDM body kits were designed for Japanese climates and often failed under the intense Australian heat. This led to the creation of our manufacturing division - now known as Monkey Warehouse.
We began producing our own hand-laid FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer) panels to replace brittle, mass-produced "chopper-gun" kits. By the late 90s, we were already perfecting fitment for the Toyota Supra and Soarer, ensuring full compatibility with Australian-delivered body specifications.
The Coopers Plains Landmark
Our location at 56 Rosedale Street, Coopers Plains became a destination for the Brisbane car scene. While other importers simply flipped vehicles, our workshop became known for technical fitment, aero development and hands-on expertise. This is where the Auto Force reputation for technical excellence was forged.
Championship Pedigree: Brisbane AutoSalon Era
Monkey Warehouse holds a proven track record from the peak of Australia's custom car scene. During the early 2000s, our team developed some of Queensland's highest-rated show cars, earning multiple awards across four consecutive years at the Brisbane AutoSalon:
- 2001 Brisbane AutoSalon Winner
- 2002 Brisbane AutoSalon Winner
- 2003 Brisbane AutoSalon Winner
- 2004 Brisbane AutoSalon Winner
Judged on craftsmanship, fitment accuracy and innovation, this legacy demonstrates that our hand-laid FRP manufacturing has met elite show-car standards for over 20 years, cementing our status as one of Queensland's most trusted aero suppliers.
Today, Auto Force operates three specialised divisions, each built on the foundation of our 1998 heritage:
1. Monkey Warehouse - Hand-Laid FRP Manufacturing
Monkey Warehouse is our in-house manufacturing division, producing professional-grade, hand-laid FRP. Every panel is individually crafted - never mass-moulded - delivering superior strength, heat stability and long-term durability. As with all performance-grade FRP, standard pre-fitting and finishing are required to achieve a premium, show-quality result.
Specialisations: Ford Falcon and FPV, Holden Commodore and HSV, JDM platforms (Skyline, Silvia, Lancer, Supra) and 4WD flare kits.
2. HIC Australia - Exclusive Distributor of Premium HIC Accessories
HIC Australia is the exclusive AU/NZ distributor of all HIC-branded products. These are premium-grade, injection-moulded accessories, engineered for OEM-level clarity, durability and UV stability. These products are a recognised premium alternative to low-cost, generic plastic shields.
Specialisations: UV-stable weather shields, bonnet protectors and roof spoilers using genuine 3M automotive adhesion.
3. Auto Force - Retail Flagship Storefront
Auto Force serves as our central retail arm, bridging the gap between factory and consumer. We offer both Monkey Warehouse hand-laid FRP and HIC Australia premium accessories through a single, trusted storefront, ensuring customers receive genuine products directly from the source.
